Eteri Tsitsiashvili

Eteri Tsitsiashvili, MD, PhD
Eteri is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Clinical Neuroscience Lab. She is interested in understanding learning and reading difficulties, specifically, the defective visual pathways in children with learning and reading disabilities. Eteri received her MD with Honors at the State Medical University, Tbilisi, Georgia and her PhD at the State Medical Academy, Tbilisi, Georgia. Her PhD studies focused on color vision in optic nerve diseases of various geneses. Eteri also studied applications of custom computer programs for diagnostics and treatment of amblyopia. Eteri received the Israeli license to practice Ophthalmology and has an extensive teaching experience with medical students, residents and ophthalmologists.
